It means that you don’t need solar panels to use the zappi charger. However, if you decide to install Solar panels you will be able to charge your Electric Vehicle (EV) at home for free! 

This smart Electric car charger has three charging modes: fast, eco, and eco+ so you can choose the most efficient way to charge your vehicle. 

eddi - Smart Microgeneration Power Diverter

Eddi is a smart microgeneration power diverter that constantly monitors your energy usage and helps you to maximise the consumption of your own solar energy.

With eddi you can direct and manage the distribution of your self-generated energy, enabling you to determine its purpose and utilization.

You can divert the solar energy to power heating systems, heat water or maximize the efficiency of an Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP).
