"I was initially apprehensive in my search for a suitable company to install Solar Energy system at my home. Nevertheless, I came across an advert for Solarsave Renewables, Llandeilo and arranged a home visit.
Within a couple of days of my initial phone call, Petar Pavlov of Solarsave Renewables attended at my home address and carried out a site survey. From the outset I was impressed by his professional approach, technical knowledge and “can do” attitude. He explained everything to me in layman's terms and within a short time following his visit presented me with a comprehensive quotation for a solar energy system suitable for our needs.
Within 10 days of signing the relevant paperwork Petar and his electrician Dan began the installation work. We made a last minute decision to include an additional storage battery, which I highly recommend if finances allow– this was ordered and included in the package without delay.
The installation package included a 2 year Home Improvement Protection insurance, a MCS Certificate of competence together with a Building Regulations Certificate.
Petar and Diana handled all the necessary paperwork and contact with the National Grid which removed the stress for us.
The work was completed in a matter of days with minimal disruption to the daily running of our house. We are very pleased with the system that has been fitted which includes 12 solar panels together with two storage batteries.

As per our customers, here's why installing solar panels at home comes with numerous benefits:
"Solar Save Renewables installed PV panels on the roof of our bungalow and an inverter in our garage. The panels are laid out nicely and are a uniform black so they look good.
The system's been running for just a few weeks so far, and because it is a sunny May/June the difference it has made is remarkable. Prior to having the PV our daily usage varied from about 7.5kWh to 12kWh, averaging around 9kWh. Since we've had the panels our daily usage hasn't exceeded 5kWh, and most days is 2-3kWh, averaging around 3kWh.
It is amazing that on some days we can have two or three rings on the hob cooking lunch, the computer on, and the washing machine on, and our usage monitor showing 0kWh mains consumption, because the panels are providing all the power.
Our electricity supplier is now reading our unused generated power from our smartmeter, so we should start to get a small amount of money back for this each month.
And in human terms, we felt confident in Petar and his team's abilities, and felt at ease with them. We certainly recommend Solar Save Renewables."

"Solar panels are a bit of a no brainer option with the current price of electricity. How much will I save on my bill was my first question. A bit difficult to directly answer - most problems seemed to revolve around actually getting to use all the power you generate! A proportion will be exported back to the grid for which you will eventually be paid at a lower rate. There are ways of getting around this and learning them is the key to getting the most out of the system. Run all your power hungry devices when the sun shines and if you go for a battery program, time when it recharges very carefully.
Solar Save Renewables were both extremely helpful and constructive in this regard, finding ways to overcome problems with installation and programming the system for maximum benefit and always on hand with any post installation enquiries.
The installation was completed over a couple of days and if it had not been for making cups of tea I would barely have noticed they were there!
Basically I wish I had done it some years ago!"

"Our pellet boiler hasn't fired up for over a month. All our hot water is provided from the solar panels via Eddi. That's brilliant for us as it's free hot water when the sun shines (aside from the installation costs of course).
Peter and Dan were excellent and the installation was efficiently managed. Petar had recommended this MyEnergi product as our preferred option of a SolarEdge unit wasn't available. We're very happy with it as it's a British company based near where we used to live in North Lincolnshire. It works well and has a second output if we need it in the future. It's part of a family of products including an EV charger and battery storage that may well be of interest to us in time."

Customer experiences have revealed the following advantages when it comes to installing solar panels at home:
"We knew that we wanted to install PV panels as we had them at a previous house. When Petar visited us he listened carefully to our needs and walked around with us to identify where we should put them to make the most of our investment. He even allowed us think we had thought of it!
We wanted to put our solar installation in a field south of our house. Even though it was a domestic installation we were surprised that the planning department required a full application costing £450 as it was “change of use”. An installation of more than a 100m2 footprint would have also needed a surface water drainage approval ( “Suds”).
When installation was delayed due to planning processes over Christmas, Petar was able to respond quickly, both in halting and then restarting the process. The communication was very good.
During our installation we decided that we wanted to add in battery storage and the ability to go off grid. This meant that we needed to respecify the inverters for the batteries even though the PV area didn’t change. Petar was very responsive in reaching a mutually beneficial compromise in revising the estimated costs to meet the higher specifications.
Once our builder had prepared a suitable base, Petar and Dan made short work of installing the panels and electrics while it was dry. A very tidy result.
We have been very pleased with the impact of the solar generation and battery storage on our electricity imports, which have more than halved even in the early months of the year.
The batteries have allowed us to match our electricity use to the solar generation pattern much more efficiently. Even if the sun isn’t shining, we can import cheap rate electricity at night, store and use it in the morning when our use is high, lessening our full rate imports.
We are very pleased!

"I engaged three companies for quotations for my solar panels. I chose Solarsave as they were the only company to conduct the initial survey personally. They were clear on what was required and what would be done at each stage. The installation went very smoothly and again I was given clear information on what was happening at each stage. We had converted a garage at the back of the property to a liveable annexe, the solar panels were to provide the electric power. Petar and his team advised me that there was enough power to provide cheap electricity to the main house, subsequently we linked the solar panels to the house and we now utilise cheap electric there and also export surplus to the grid. Petar was also able to advise on how the solar power could provide hot water for the annexe. A hot water cylinder was installed with a “Solar Boost” controller that enabled the solar power to heat the water and also allow a switch to mains electric when demand required.
I am very happy with the installation and would recommend Petar and his team for your renewable energy projects. "

Your quote was easily understandable and very detailed and the installation was done on schedule.
The installation went very smoothly with no disruption and the scaffolding was dismantled and removed within a week. (We know from past experiences that this can be an issue with it being left well after the job has been finished).
The battery and inverter and all accompanying equipment have been neatly installed in our storeroom and any concerns we had about heat or noise have been dispelled.
Regarding performance we have been very impressed how little light the panels need to produce electricity and how much they produce on sunny days. As well as the battery being charged by solar we can also charge it at night if needed at a very low rate."
