Our customer, based in Gower, Swansea, reached out to us as they wanted to replace their outdated solar thermal system with a more advanced and efficient one.
Solar thermal technology, like all technological advancements, has progressed over time.
The existing system was inherited by the owners when they bought the property a few years ago and was now costing more in maintenance and repairs than it was saving; therefore, they have decided to modernise it.
The Solution:
Replacing old solar panels with Viessmann Vitosol 300-TM
After a thorough evaluation of their needs and the available options, we recommended the installation of the Vitosol 300-TM solar thermal system by Viessmann.
We have installed The Viessmann solar thermal set as it offers a high-performance vacuum tube collector that meets the highest demands in terms of efficiency and safety.
Increased Efficiency: The new Vitosol 300-TM system offers significantly higher efficiency compared to the outdated system. This means that the customer will generate more solar energy to heat their water and will increase their energy savings.

Space Optimisation: Given the customer's specific requirements and space limitations, the individual alignment of absorber tubes in the Vitosol 300-TM proved to be an ideal choice. This ensured efficient energy capture while making the best use of the available space.
